Paintings

I have been painting for about thirty years.  I always loved to draw as a child, and when I grew up (if I ever did), I naturally gravitated toward painting as a hobby.  I am mostly self-taught, but I have attended many workshops and have studied through many books and personal observations the techniques of painting.  I have never wanted to specialize in one area—that is not my nature.  I always wanted to try my hand at something new, as this website should confirm.  Therefore, the selection of paintings that you will see will be oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastel.  The subject matter, likewise, is varied, and, I hope, entertaining.

Under the Oaks

November 8, 2012

I loved this scene from St. Simons Island of a beautiful home under the moss-covered live oaks with the bright sunshine making patterns on the green grass. Under the Oaks
